This frame grab taken from AFPTV video footage on October 28, 2026 shows smoke rising after a missile targeted Yemen’s Aden airport for the second time, as the Iran-backed Houthis called for the evacuation of the facility in the seat of the Saudi-backed government. Yemen’s Houthis authorities said Saudi strikes on a petrol station and a market killed more than a dozen people on October 28, while the Iran-backed group targeted the perimeter of the airport in government stronghold Aden. The Houthis last month launched a lightning offensive in Yemen, reigniting a long frozen civil war against the Saudi-backed, internationally recognised government there. (Photo by AFPTV / AFP) /
